About Me

I’m Mark Peters, a North East England brand photographer.

I’ve worked in both commercial photography and marketing, so I understand how powerful images drive business results.

My approach blends creativity with strategy. I’ll help you look great on camera and ensure your photos support your business goal.

tell us about yourself

I’m 38 years old, a proud dad, and husband to my wonderful wife. We live in a charming coastal town in the North East of England, where I run my photography business as a professional brand photographer.

Outside of photography, I enjoy playing the piano and guitar, exploring new creative pursuits, and indulging in my love of whisky, especially the peaty drams!

What's your background?

Over the past decade, I have worked in the jewellery industry, working with jewellery and watches daily. My journey into professional photography began naturally by photographing these jewellery pieces, sparking a passion that would grow into a passion to become a brand photographer.

Starting with jewellery photography allowed me to refine my skills in capturing intricate details and the essence of products, and it has since opened doors to collaborate with a wide range of brands across various industries. Today, I specialise in product photography, personal branding photography, and creative visual content that helps businesses tell their story and connect with their audience.

What's the best bit about your job?

I love the creative process behind every shoot. While I’ve always had an artistic flair, I know I’m not the next Picasso but photography allows me to be the artist, capturing the perfect moment without having to paint the entire picture.

As a brand photographer, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a shot turn out beautifully and knowing it helps a client showcase their brand effectively.

Do you just do product photography?

I genuinely enjoy photographing almost anything, from portraits to landscapes and seascapes, but I always return to product photography.

I love the creative challenge of styling each shot, and as a brand photographer, I know my images are helping businesses make a positive impact and drive important sales. Capturing products in a way that tells a brand’s story and engages customers is what truly interest me.

What equipment do you use?

When it comes to hardware: Nikon & DJI. For post production - Photoshop and Final Cut Pro.

Is there any photography you won't do?

I would draw the line at Wedding photography but otherwise i'd be pretty open. I admire wedding photographers but i think i'd crack under that amount of pressure!
