North Shields moves to its own rhythm: the tide, the fish quay, the streets shaped by work and time. These images follow the town as it really is: rough-edged architecture, harbour light, worn facades, and quiet moments between the noise.

We managed to get a family trip out to Kielder, in the depths of Northumberland. Luckily the rain held off long enough for me to get some pictures of the landscape and the family!

I grew up in Morpeth during my school years. Like any kid, I never really appreciated the history or picturesque nature of this small market town. I finished these shots all in monochrome.
